Post and Vacancies: Total six hundred and fifty three (653) Junior Basic Training (JBT) position, out of these three hundred and twenty thee (323) posts for General Category, One hundred sixty six (166) for other backward classes (OBC), eighty three (83) for Schedule caste, sixteen (16) for physically handicapped category candidates.
Candidates who are from Ex servicemen category, sixty five (65) posts, out of which thirty six (36) for General, eighteen (18) for other backward classes, nine for schedule caste and two for physically handicapped.

Eligibility Criteria for SSA Chandigarh JBT post
Age limit and relaxation: The age limit for the posts of JBT is minimum twenty one (21) years and maximum age limit is thirty five (35) years.
